Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are a short drive away and is a must for walkers and hikers. The SW Coastal Path offers wonderful walks from Summercourt to Polperro via Looe and to Rame Head and Plymouth Sound to Mount Edgcombe via Seaton beach and Whitsand Bay.
Sailing, fishing, diving and riding are all available nearby. Two golf courses are available at Looe and Whitsands with St Mellion International Course a short distance away. Arrangements can be made for either a sailing or canoeing experience in the Tamar valley.
