General Information and Booking Conditions"Our aim is to provide a relaxing and peaceful holiday for all our guests" Bookings: Normally from 3pm on the day of arrival, usually a Saturday, until 10am on the day of departure. Please do not arrive earlier, unless by prior arrangement, as this gives time for the preparation of your cottage. Only full week bookings are available from June to the end of September. Short breaks are available outside this period. Please let us know as soon as possible of any alteration to your booking and we shall try our best to facilitate them. We reserve the right to decline acceptance of a booking at our discretion.Xmas and New Year are sepearate weeks Short breaks: Will be accommodated whenever possible with charges of a minimum of a 3 day break at 70% of the weekly rate, with additional days being 1/7th of the weekly rate. For stays of over 1 week, add 1/7th of the weekly rate per extra day. Deposits: A deposit of 30% per booking is required. A receipt, confirmation of booking, and optional holiday insurance form will be sent to you by return. The contract shall be deemed to be made only when we issue a confirmation of your booking. WE REGRET THAT DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. Balance of payment: You will be sent a final invoice 7/8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. Please forward the balance for the full amount due to arrive at these offices six weeks before the commencement date. If the payment is not received six weeks in advance, we reserve the right to re-let the cottage. Only credit/debit card payment via PayPal facility, 2% charged for credit cards Cancellations: If you have to cancel please telephone as soon as possible and confirm also in writing. This will increase our chance of re-letting the accommodation. Provided we receive written notification of your cancellation we will endeavour to re-let your accommodation and provided the accommodation is re-let any balance paid by you will be reimbursed. Insurance: We recommend you take out holiday insurance in order to protect yourself against unforeseen causes of cancellation,loss or damage to your property. Insurance is personal and policies can be found in yellow pages, on the internet or by other means. Occupancy: Under no circumstances may the number of occupants per cottage exceed the number stated on the booking form, and stated in the brochure, or on this website. Smoking: We would prefer you not to smoke. If you do, then please consider the non-smokers around you. Please use receptacles provided. Dogs: Your signature on the booking form indicates your agreement to the following:
On departure: All equipment and utensils (including oven and grill tray) etc. must be left clean and tidy. Failure to comply may result in an extra cleaning charge. Articles left in cottages will be forwarded at a minimum cost of £10, to cover postage, packing and handling. Insurance will be extra. Breakages: The hirer will be responsible to pay for any breakage, loss or damage however caused to or by a member of his party. Access Statement: An access statement is available on request. Please note a mini bus service is available ( 1/2 mile ) but times vary. There are various steps and slopes in and around the property. Loss or Injury: It is the express condition of booking that we cannot be held responsible for any injury to visitors, or loss or damage to their property or vehicles. Neither can we be held responsible for non-availability of accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control. Changes to accommodation: We reserve the right to make improvements or alterations to accommodation and facilities without notice. |
